Jennifer Hudson went casually stylish on Wednesday’s “The Jennifer Hudson Show” set. The talk show host and singer wore Woollier’s The Dreamer sneakers in “White Leopard” while interviewing actress Gina Rodriguez. Rodriguez appeared on the show to discuss motherhood, turning 40, and her show “Not Dead Yet.”
Hudson is known to have an appreciation for designer sneakers and basketball, making this shoe, designed by a former WNBA player, a perfect fit for her wardrobe. She was seen this week coordinating the red laces of her Gucci boots with her son’s Air Jordans at a Lakers game. The singer often wears flats and other variations of comfortable but fashionable shoes on her show.
About the Shoes
The Woollier The Dreamer sneakers are part of Woollier’s Concrete Jungle capsule, a collaboration between the shoe designer and former WNBA star Ty Young. The sneakers add three new color blocks in black, white or lavender with a leopard print stripe across the shoe’s body to Woollier’s iconic The Dreamer silhouette. Each pair comes with a commemorative insert hand-signed by Young.

The Concrete Jungle capsule collection speaks to Young’s interpretation of The Dreamer and was inspired by following her dreams in a big city and overcoming obstacles put in her path. The shoes are handmade in Italy and retail for $395.
