Lupita Nyong’o opted for ladylike attire at the 2024 CinemaCon event held in Los Angeles at Caesars Palace. The star looked spring-appropriate in strappy sandals from Betsey Johnson.
Nyong’o has worked with stylist Micaela Erlanger throughout her career. Erlinger has put her in everything from pointed-toe stilettos to mules and more. For Comic-Con in 2022 she wore a pair of platform heels with an open toe.
Nyong’o was on hand at the event to unveil her upcoming animated film “The Wild Robot.” In the unfinished project, the actress voices Roz, a robot who is accidentally left on an uninhabited island. The voice cast also includes Pedro Pascal, Kit Connor and more.

About the shoe
Nyongo’s footwear was a spring-ready style from Betsey Johnson. The shoe is the company’s Carlos Rosette dress sandal. The heel features a leopard sole along with a velvet rosette. The rosette includes imitation pearl embellishments that mimic beads of water on the rosette, and the design also includes a green velvet leaf.
The sandal has a metallic stiletto heel of 3.5 inches. An ankle strap featuring a small crystalized buckle keeps it tight to the foot. The footbed is lightly padded for comfort. The silhouette also has an open, square toe.
The shoe is currently available for $54.
