In collaboration with British fashion designer Craig Green, Adidas Originals launched three shoe silhouettes on May 28 for their SS24 collection. The launch includes the CG Retropy Boost, the CG Retropy Sandal and the previously released CG Squash Polta AKH in three new colorways.
The Retropy Boost is inspired by the previously released CG Boost Stan, featuring a signature midsole technology expanded to the whole silhouette. With the use of a distinct molding process, the Retropy Boost includes an all-over Boost construction that matches a rubber outsole. The shoe is offered in two monochromatic colorways.
The design of the Retropy Sandal involves a neoprene upper featuring a variety of cutouts, an elastic lace closure and a Boost midsole. Reenvisioning the signature adidas archival design, the sandal is offered in two colorways.
Lastly, the CG Squash Polta AKH first hit the market in 2022, taking inspiration from the 1988 adidas Made-in-Taiwan squash shoe. The shoe is known for its transparent detailing that reveals layers of the shoe. Available in three new colorways, the AKH maintains the rubber outsole and soft leather lining of its past iteration.
