Latto appeared on an episode of “The Jennifer Hudson Show” which aired yesterday on Sling.
The songstress chatted with host Jennifer Hudson about her new album “Sugar Honey Iced Tea” and the upcoming season of her Netflix reality show “Rhythm + Flow.” Later on in the show, Latto performed her Grammy-nominated song “Big Mama.”
For her talk show appearance, the “Lottery” songstress sported a pair of Balletcore-inspired booties hailing from Double Standard NYC. Retailing for $228 via the brand’s website, the Paris boot silhouette included patchwork pastel pink satin reminiscent of dancerly ballet flats. Satin pink lace-up closures gave way to bow accents and sharp pointed toes. Bronzy eyelets and zipper closures kept the shoes in place while 3.5-inch angular wooden heels lifted Latto to new heights.

Given its vintage quality, the shoe is meant to mimic the look of Victorian-style footwear. Recently, Double Standard NYC released a statement regarding the pastel pink footwear via their Instagram, stating that they are, “easing production of the Paris boot as it is today, revising the design, and addressing internal issues that have challenged its creative integrity.” The brand features a slew of ballet-inspired silhouettes for those looking to channel their inner Latto. Said styles include the Nicki Business, Ballet sneakers and their Baby Ruth flats.
Keeping it simple but chic on the outfit front, the “Big Energy” rapper wore a form-fitted white tube top tucked into light-wash high-waisted denim. Worn off-the-shoulder, the musician sported a cropped white jacket in a boxy style crafted of curly faux fur. Latto’s denim was belted.
Latto’s shoe style is sleek and subversive. The “Muwop” singer often wears neutral and colorful heeled sandals on the red carpet from brands including Giuseppe Zanotti and Gianvito Rossi. Off-duty, she can also be seen in towering Jennifer Le platform wedges, punky Vetements boots and chunky Chanel sneakers, as well.
